Registration

At WVU, we register for classes using the online STAR registration system. STAR can do lots of things beyond adding and dropping classes. However, the content on this page is dedicated to doing just that- getting you signed up for classes.

Be sure to keep track of your priority registration date. Because you cannot register until you meet with an advisor, it’s a good idea to schedule your advising appointment well before its time to register for classes. Our advisors tend to get backed up with students who wait until the last minute to schedule their appointment. So be sure to schedule your appointment early in the semester. (Especially if you need to take one of the more popular classes on campus.) Please stop by our office located next to the Mountain Lair or call (304) 293-5805 to schedule an appointment.
